A car crashed into a grocery shop in Chumphon province’s Thung Tako district on Saturday night, causing extensive damage but there were no casualties.

Police suspect that the driver Chuleeporn Chana, 21, who had minor injuries might have been drunk. But she said she might have fallen asleep. She insisted that she had not consumed more than one can of beer that night.

The shop owner Putta Boonmee demanded compensation from Chuleeporn because her grocery shop was completely damaged with the pillars and roof crumbling.

Ok, just let me guess....New Year's Eve.....just one drink?   Maybe just one after another...lol....??

Surely a breathalyser would determine how many drinks she had had.

By the looks of that grocery shop, $100 should cover the damage.

Luckily no shopper about.

I was going to go out on a limb and suggest around $85.   But we need to allow for the conversion fees.

Happily no fatalities / injuries so nothing to do but have a good chuckle

Fell asleep, her Tw@tFace accounts must be pretty boring then?

:cheesy:

Breathalyzer and check her mobile records.

Just pleased nobody was injured or killed.

I hope this wakes the silly girl up, and her insurance trebles.

:giggle:
