i am 50 years old, mostly i need readers for short sight , my long sight isnt too bad and i would say 90% good though sometimes long site is a little blurred.

 

where can i get an eye test and get contacts in bkk or pattaya  and what would the price most likely be ?

If Bangkok is convenient, I'd suggest getting a comprehensive eye exam at Rutnin Eye Hospital.  All their Ophthalmologists are board certified.  The exam will be about B1300-B2000. 

Once you have a prescription, then best to shop around both locally and online.  Bangkok prices for top quality optics are very high.

There is an eyeware shop within Rutnin but it is reportedly a concession, not actually a part of Rutnin. I have seen some complaints about their prices and services.
