The old badminton club is indeed closed but the one directly opposite, Diamond Badminton, is still open.

Fairtex on Pattaya North (Nua) Road has badminton courts.

Fairtex may have already closed. Diamond is open but the condition of the court is among the worst in Thailand, and expensive too.

Surely not. Thailand has two world champions, and they intend to produce more. Badminton is the national sports, and its pervasiveness is second only to telling lies.

Thailand had some good international bridge players...

But that did not stop them and there are plenty of beer bellies around Pattaya, a must for any darts player... :cheesy:
