Remote for old AC Unit.

I have a 12 year old Mitsubishi AC unit, it has given me great service, but I now need a new remote for it, to be sure I get the right one, do

I take the old one to a Mitsubishi dealer and just ask for a new one, or is it more complicated than that?

Anyone know anywhere in Pattaya or Bangkok where I am going next week where I can get one over the counter? Thanks.

sorry not local but after trying all over came up with this on e bay

( 272709564500 )   good price  and claims 1k  different combinations   handbook also  works well on my two older acs

Almost any good electrical store will sell you a universal remote or one that will work with that unit, the original replacement parts are going to be very expensive by comparison. I found one easily in Chiang Mai and paid 200 baht for it.

I found identical OEM replacement remotes for two 5 year old Hitachi units at lazada...might wanna see what they offer for mitsubishi units...

Amorn electronic in Bangkok used to have a good selection of original and substitute remotes.

 

There is an Amorn in the basement of Tukcom, and I think I saw remotes there.

many phones have infra red. If yours has then go to Google play or I phone and download a remote. Mitsubishi should be in all of them
