Lease Of House 30+30

Featured Replies

Hi There

I am about to lease a house in Phuket for 30+30 years, any good advise or what to look out for.

Any know a good lawyer there know about lease.

Thanks a lot

I'm not a lawyer, but I know that the +30 bit is unenforceable! If the owner decides not to renew the lease then there is not much you can do about it :o

Good luck!

If you don't care then why are you asking?

There are several good law offices on the island who will give you good advice,

Legal advice is like everything else in the world: you get what you pay for.

My comment is worth exactly what you paid for it :D

I wasn't trying to be smart, my point was that for something serious it might be a good idea to pay for proper legal advice, rather than asking on an internet forum. Any lawyers browsing the forum are probably not about to start giving out any advice more than "see a lawyer and pay for their time".

Which is what I said. For free :o

One law firm is a sponsor here, why not email them?
