How does Bangkok Bank work for retirees who have a pension?
If possible into an IMM-dedicated account, keeping the 400k/800k parked in it permanently. Then keep your fingers firmly crossed that your bank of choice for this second account doesn't, similarly to BKKB, subsequently restrict your access to it! -

'I guess I am': Trump calls himself a 'war hero' https://resources.news.com.au/author-profiles/febf30c3-ce7e-4e96-b339-0a137aca8eed.png Samuel Clench Donald Trump has, in typically modest style, described himself as a “war hero” during an interview with conservative broadcaster Mark Levin. The remark came as the pair discussed the war in Gaza. Mr Levin, whose support for Israel’s actions is essentially unconditional, got Mr Trump talking about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The President said his Israeli counterpart was “a good man”, and was “in there fighting” for his country. “He’s a war hero,” Mr Trump said of Mr Netanyahu. UK Starmer Speaks Out on Councils Removing Union Jack Flags
Well, can we blame him, given the chance where would you rather stay, the Med, south of France or Herne Bay? The lion would be a better symbol for Tanzania or Uganda, you know places where lions actually live. For Britain i's a bit of deranged symbol, since there are no lions in Britain. I mean Italy doesn't have kangaroos as a symbol, Spain doesn't have the Vietnamese pot belly pig as a symbol. Botswana doesn't have the Enlish woodpecker as a symbol. If everyone did what Britain's doing it would be a madhouse. -

Finance Thailand Tightens Mobile Banking to Curb Scams
I have a suggestion that I wish to make to my local Pheu Thai representative [having the right to vote of course due to paying tax] Can we have a sliding scale to protect the vulnerable 65s and over. We all know that after you hit your 90s you don't eat very much, so a gradual lowering of ATM withdrawal and mobile app transfer limits is a sound idea. For vulnerable people in their 90s and above I suggest an eventual daily limit of 200 Baht per day. It's for their protection of course. Kind regards Feeling Safer -

I'm a AG, I'm a AG, as Police detained her in RI, News...
You must've read Miranda's mind! "Police bodycam videos go viral because we all love seeing these people get their comeuppance". "Exhibit A this week is Rhode Island Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan Hogan, whose drunken antics while resisting arrest outside the upscale Clarke Cooke House in Newport are the latest example of a new genre of viral content: brats resisting arrest". https://nypost.com/2025/08/20/opinion/miranda-devine-childish-rhode-island-prosecutor-is-latest-example-of-entitled-dems-thinking-they-are-above-the-law/
