I have an outlet that powers a 3 phase AC unit.  (3 wires)  would it be possible to use this existing wiring  and extend it to add a standard single phase 240v receptacle?  I see no neutral wire. only the 3 wires feeding the air conditioning unit.

Thank you in advance.

+1 on Arjen.

Thailand is 3-phase, 4-wire with the 220V being taken between any phase and the neutral. 3-phase appliances often don't use the neutral and so one is not run to the appliance.
