What is a warningtower? Is that the tower where the beachguard is sitting?

Could be, But I assumed the report was talking about the Tsunami warning tower near the Arcadia Hilton. As far as I know there is still no beach guard contract in force.

Between driving on Thai roads and swimming at Karon beach you would have little chance of survival....TIT
