I was looking around Chinaworld for either 3mm grey felt or neoprene to no avail. I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a place in Bangkok to find specialty fabrics such as this. Everywhere seems to have the same printed cotton for dresses or black fabric for hijabs. 

for use in/on what ??  never seen a neoprene  hijab. 

For use in making cases for surfboards.

I have seen several shops on Rama 4 Road between Klong Toey Market area and where the Lotus Superstore and Big C Superstore are on Rama 4 Road also. These shops have many large rolls of leathers but I am pretty sure i have seen rolls of felt there also. I think most of the shops are on the Big C side of the road. it is worth going there and taking a look.
