A Thai man who murdered his own younger brother before burying him in a field and fleeing has finally been captured after being on the run for 11 years.

Kraisorn Lohitdee, 40, a native of Songkhla, was arrested coming back from Malaysia where he had been working.

He is charged with murdering his brother Sadet Lohitdee in January 2006. Police said he hit his brother with a hoe before shooting him multiple times and burying him in a field in Udon Thani.

The brothers had had a dispute over a land inheritance, reported Thai Rath.

Police recently found out that Kraisorn was in the south and that he worked 25-27 days each month in Malaysia.

They knew that he had left Thailand on December 27th so they were expecting him back somewhere between 23rd and 25th January.

They staked out the border at Sadao and sure enough on Tuesday the 23rd this week he came back at 1.30pm and was arrested.

He has been detained and will be charged with murder.

Yeah, sure! That it took 11 years to find one single man is off course toally irrelevant. :clap2:

And him used every month his passport for left/come back to Thailand!!! ;-)

Looks like everyone (RT Police, Tourist Police Immigration, Military, Government, ...) have a own database and never synchronice it with the others.

Just another frail Thai male ego having a hissy-fit for little reason...what? Your brother disagreed with you so you killed him. Pathetic
