Immigration police have arrested three Nigerians after they were found to have hired Thai women to smuggle drugs into Japan.

The arrest of the three Nigerian nationals identified as Mr Declan Kaodichi Uzukwu, Mr Okwor Stephen Onyema,  and Mr Justin Chiedozie Uzukwu came after Japanese police sought help from Thai police to track down a drug trafficking gang after they have arrested 7 Thai women for drug trafficking.

All the Thai women had in possession Ecstasy pills in SIM-card shape. They told the Japanese police that they were hired by the gang to smuggle drugs into Japan.

Only nabbed them because of a tip off from the Japanese. Must have been an inconvenient interruption to their daily routine of doing the envelope collection rounds and/or sitting in the office playing Candy Crush.

Keep up the good work.

It's only E. People have been loving it for decades. You would probably benefit from trying it. It increases human empathy and understanding and is used in marriage guidance counselling.  The war on drugs is a war on The people supported by the ignorant, the corrupt and the hypocritical.

Scumbags, lots of vulnerable women duped into this in one way or another are rotting in jail and in most cases it should be purely these guys serving taking the flack.

The majority of inmates of Thai jails are women are on petty drug charges. The scumbags are the people who arrested and prosecuted them and then hold them in prison.

Nigerians and citizens of other African countries who comes to Thailand

are not, tourists, are not business people, are not just innocent people

looking for a place to retire and enjoy life,

The Thai government, Thai customs and immigrations will do well to strongly

vat and scrutinized every person, male and female coming from targeted

African countries as to why they're traveling to Thailand, and most likely

using fake travel documents and fake credentials, that's if they care about

the fate of their duped citizens and curtailing the drug trade...

You are on point sir, but mind you most citizens of other African counties are Nigerians stealing identity

scrutinizing everyone from west Africa won't happen just like most other coloured people traveling to Thailand as far as the visa is legit accordingly

It's not the drug itself so much as the scumbags who use others to do their dirty work.

I sometimes wonder about the will of the Thai government in drug dealing issues. The product is there, many intermediaries both official and unofficial make money from the trade. Dealers including importers/exporters, like these Nigerians, are needed to ensure the trade and the profits continue to flow to the intermediaries.

This is also the reason why legalisation, which would destroy the gravy train, is far away here.

For the pure substance under guidance of a physician I agree.
Unfortunately these drugs nowadays are often so dirty and contain whatever you don't want to know...

If you were talking about grass or hash then I would agree but E is still a synthetic and there in lies the problem.

It is not just in Thailand. These Nigerian / African scum are dealing drugs in so many countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Nepal, even zero police corruption country like Singapore. If not drugs, they are into other scams like online romance, fake currency, banking fraud etc.
