Human-Induced Climate Change Creates Olympic "Heat Dome" Crisis
There are actually two paths. There's a project for powering Singapore from solar farms in Australia via cable. The second path is electrolysis of seawater ( we have plenty of that too } to produce hydrogen, convert to ammonia for transport. Pilot stage at present. -

Trump to scared for debate with Harris
He is not uncouth! He is more couth than anyone has ever seen! Everywhere he goes people come up to him and say "Sir, you are more couth than anyone who ever lived." If they don't he insults them, call them names, anything to diminish them, just like any other spoiled 10-year-old would do. It's not any easy job, poor guy, he's running out of vituperatives and has to recycle the slams he started using in 2015. He should remove himself from the race and hand the candidacy over to Vance: it will cause the Dems to be as thunderstruck as he was when Biden dropped out. -

Bangkok Redlight Nightlife Empty??
Did you think the area had turned much more gay when you were there? I felt like I was viewed as being gay when I walked around. Then I started noticing a lot of guy couples at the bars who I initially thought were just drinking buddies, but after awhile they looked gay.- 1

Thai Tax on UK pensions
Agree 100% & I'm giving serious thought to selling my UK House that same year which would raise Capital Gains that would certainly be assessable (Even after the CGT I would need to pay on it in the UK) but I also believe that, currently, the Tax "Experts" have no more information than us laymen so (personally I) wouldn't consult one until the situation is much clearer (I don't need to make a decision until 2026 so happy to sit back & see what happens). As an aside Thailand's visas have changed so much in the past 6 months It would be silly of me to decide exactly what I'm going to do in 18 months, the LTR could (I'm not for 1 minute suggesting it would) lose it's "Tax Free" remittances or the Non-IMM O could morph into a 5 year Visa/Extension With tax free remittance of pensions (Which to me makes absolute sense for guys from a country that Thailand has a DTA with). But the plan at the moment, is to do an Hotblack Desiato in 2026 🙂 -

apartments with an oven ?
If you can't afford one just ask the 7-11 to heat your meals. They have a microwave there. It's free. -

Human-Induced Climate Change Creates Olympic "Heat Dome" Crisis
No tech for that unfortunately. Try to power a Canadian winter with current solar tech. More energy hits the earth every day than we would currently know what to do with. However greed is a funny thing. -

Do you know anyone on dodgy ground ? In danger ?
I've made sure I am worth more to my GF alive than dead. Not telling anyone how much you have is a good start. -
