AIS Play app on unsupported ISP network?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently changed my mobile phone provider from DTAC to AIS and now enjoy much better coverage, however, I sadly noticed that I cannot stream any channels on the AIS app when being connected to my home wireless lan. I checked the AIS FAQs and they list a number of supported ISPs (True, TOT..) but unfortunately my provider (PlanetFiber) is not supported.

Nonetheless, is there possibly a workaround existing e.g. by using a different DNS address? I have checked google but haven’t found anything so I am hoping that someone here could give me some advice.

Thanks in advance.

I would uninstall the app., restart the phone, turn off wifi, re-install the app, request the OTP, enter it, then try the app on 4G. Then log on to your WiFi network and try the app.

I know that AIS Play app does NOT work when I am outside Thailand, but it does work on every WiFi network (perhaps not one supplied by a PlanetFiber broadband connection?) I've ever tried in Thailand.

How were you able to configure the app. while on DTAC? You would have needed to receive an OTP SMS on an AIS mobile number?
