CityNews – Chiang Mai International Airport has revealed that many airlines have requested to increase their flights to handle the influx of passengers over Chinese New Year.

 

Between February 4th to March 3rd, 2018, many airlines have asked for extra flights to and from Chiang Mai with the most requested from China Eastern Airline which has requested extra flights over the Chinese New Year month.

No problem at all airport management, please bring in more flights.

After all we have a fantastic airport access and parking, and lots of space on the roads, and really we cannot get enough of chinese tour groups or of those jolly nice couples on rented scooters stopping in the middle of the road for a selfie.

 

Came in from Singapore a few days ago and surprise no line at Immigration.  Cleared, got my checked bag and into a taxi in 35 minutes.  So I guess no travel until after March 3.  Appreciate the article about the incoming traffic jam at CNX.
