Eighteen kindergarten students were injured, five of them in serious condition, after a modified pickup truck in which they were travelling crashed into a roadside tree in Tha Sala district of Nakhon Si Thammarat Wednesday.

The accident took place on the Tha Sala-U tapao road in Tambon Pothong, Tha Sala district as the school bus which was modified from a pickup truck was on its way to Ubon Witthaya kindergarten school.

Rescue workers who arrived at the scene quickly sent the injured students to Tha Sala district hospital and other nearby hospitals.

So is driving motorbike without a helmet and prostitution ... ;)

The pickup in this accident was a "Songthaew", but i don't know if these are actually legal by law, or still illegal.

Pretty obvious from the pics that the seats came away on impact and were totally unfit for purpose.
