So many bars for sale= solved

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Occasionally wondered why so many bars for sale at Rhompo Market (opposite Soi 7, Jomtien 2nd Road) and although the current land leasee may tell buyers different; all land/lease the bars sit on are due to expire next year.

So, many bargains to be had for the aspiring bar owner to have a very quick go at making a quick profit on the investment.?

New sign erection seen today to inform the otherwise uninformed masses.

I assume by the notice that it maybe likely that Mr Srikram will not get his lease renewed next year, probably because if they (the land owners) knew of his intended use of the land when he first leased it they would not have leased it to him...

So unless he or others can get the CoCiT to sell, them bars will be history...

It will be the location of the new Jomtien Casino and Happy ending hotel complex.

That's for  the people who can't sell there investment properties,

who want it so bad.   :cheesy:

Good prediction.  Just two days ago, a Thai lady bar owner asked him how long he had the land lease for and ever-honest Somchai said 'No worry, many years'.

The next day the blue sign was posted.

So, she cancelled her renovation plans and posted a For Sale sign on her corner bar.

Apparently its planned to build an incineration plant there so as to alleviate the garbage problems on Ko Larn.....barges will be used to bring the sewerage at night......:shock1:

Anything that means fewer bars and less noise is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

I thought there is a long time rumour that Tesco has purchased the land.

Where does the noise cause a problem for residents? Are you at view tally residences? Only asking as I have been thinking of moving to the area

Too bad. I wonder if this includes the whole width from Kiss Restuarant to the Soi  running north behind Corner House bar? A lot of venders and employees when all added up. The fruit and veg stands are one of the main reasons I liked living in that neighbourhood.

Should not be a problem as the VT residence is not next to the bars.

Go at night and check to be sure.
