A policewoman motorcycle outrider who has been part of a detail protecting VIPs is in a serious condition in a Chumphon hospital after a collision with another motorcycle.

A 64 year old man on the other bike died.

"Muat Pheung" - otherwise known as Wanwisa Theerapanyachai, 36 - was on her way to Bangkok from the south on a BMW F800GS German Auto.

She collided with Prajak Phrombangkert, 64, on a Yamaha Spark. He was given CPR at the scene in Tha Se district but was pronounced dead in hospital.

The accident occurred at kilometer maker 472 on the Petchkasem Highway.

Pheung has facial injuries and may require surgery. Her family want her flown to Bangkok. She has so far been unable to give an account of the accident.

She was a manager of an AIS shop in Chitlom and a manager at Central before she decided on a career change and joined the police and trained to be a motorcyclist.

She took park as one of only three women out of 80 participants in the Ironman Rally, a motorcycle event from Phuket to Chiang Mai earlier this month.

German Auto is the dealership's name :cheesy: It shows the level/quality of reporting they are doing :giggle: Apparently there must be also a BMW F800GS Barcelona..

It's printed on a plate of the bike and they simply reproduced that.

That doesn't sound like good news for her.

Is that an official license plate ???

The smiley picture shows why she is well known

i do hope her facial injuries aren’t beyond repair, but perhaps this may be a part of why she is unable to give her account of what happened. (Broken jaw... pain... etc etc)

No.

And no idea why she can drive around with that.

Maybe the official plate has flown off from the accident?

Maybe...

Yikes.... all the best...  Broken Jaw, facial injury... not wearing a helmet?

Sad news for the victim RIP. Hope his family will get appropriate and fair compensation.

As for the female rider, what a hottie !?!!!...all black overall clad !!...I would definately have her over for a live in , during her post operatory convalescence !!...wish her a prompt recovery...

and btw, helmets or no helmets for both involved parties that is ?
