Swiss paedophile in Thailand jailed for 16 years

A Swiss man accused of abusing more than 80 children in Thailand for over a decade has been fined and sentenced to 16 years in prison by a Swiss court. He will also be forced to undergo psychotherapy.

The court in Gruyère, canton Fribourg, on Thursday found him guilty notably of human trafficking and sexual acts with children. He had also been accused of exploiting them in order to take pornographic images and for prostitution.

During his trial, the prosecutor had said the 72-year-old from Lucerne had acted with perversity and contempt, denying the humanity and dignity of the children, some of whom were only ten when first abused.

He should have been sentenced to 48 years in a Thai jail instead. That would have been more suitable for this mean human beeing.

He's 72. Shame they took so long to get him. He wont last more than 20 years.

A Swiss jail is too good for him. I wonder why the Thai police didn't apply for his extradition so that he could he could spend the rest of his miserable life as a guest at the Bangkok Hilton. Is there no such treaty between the two countries?

well, reading the article it seems he has gone back and forth between the countries several times with several crimes and convictions.

As protected custody is the norm for these after a good beating,

one hopes the  initial beating does serious damage, and the guard has a serious case of the fumbles when trying to insert the key,

You mean castration?

i would be happy enough just watching a youtube clip on circumcision

with appropriate close up facial expressions, and preferably some thai police

pointing finger at his pecker during the ritual

Doesn´t matter. I just made the statment of, according to me, a fitting amount of years. Also my opinion is that he should have been thrown in a Thai jail.

Yes you old bull , I am very glad when I was circumsised at about 6 weeks the surgeon didn't get the 2 Cs mixed up.  Thailand would of not been half as much fun. + I would of needed more toys to play with as a teen.

What actually happened to the German bloke in Pattaya who got booked some ten days ago? After all those pictures, news flashes etc. it became very quiet - overnight.

Just wondering as, if convicted, they all need to be locked up and the keys can be thrown away, far away!

If he had been caught in Thailand,he would have most

likely been given bail, and buggered off.at 72 he will die

in prison, should have been caught much earlier.

And a waste of monies paying for "forced psychotherapy "thought only Canada was that stupid :-(

I thought I did just that.
Do I read sympathy and understanding between the lines ?
If so I'd be seriously worried, and stay away from children.
as mentioned above, the harm done to children is indescribable, you might read up on it.
Maybe time for therapy before it is too late ?
