It is all luck and try with the USA Embassy. My Thai GF have been to The Netherland (3) times; the Caribbean (1); Dubai (2); Abu Dhabi (1); Canada (1), has a valid (10) yrs. Canadian visa; Hong Kong (1); China like (25) times, due work as a buyer; same for Vietnam. All with a letter from me guaranteeing her, plus medical, do not have to pay for a thing, not even airfare, yet they refuse her (3) times. They saw all. A friend of ours, married to an American, was refused, she had Invitation letter: job here, and husband their letter: husband car loan from the Bank their letter: husband house mortgage letter: copy of husband US tax return: marriage certificate: medical letter: bank statements both here and there: airfare booking: Interary there. So really, do not know what they want. I can only say, let her try -

The Network for Thai Entrepreneur Protection initially raised the alarm, providing compelling evidence that the goods lacked both Thai language labelling and the necessary Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certification. This illegal practice has unfairly undercut local businesses by setting artificially low prices, making competition nearly impossible for legitimate operators. Known for its Chinese tourist and business presence, the Huai Khwang area has often attracted scrutiny. Yet, this raid highlights the broader issue: it’s not solely a matter of public health but an economic concern, with substantial sums of money allegedly being sent directly back to China, bypassing local economic circulation. “We won’t stop at malpractice against FDA regulations,” Thanakrit emphasised. “We will investigate further whether there is any money laundering involved. The issue is not just about health but also the economy.” While the results of this raid remain undisclosed, the government’s actions have set a precedent. Officials from the Department of Revenue and anti-money laundering units are expected to scrutinise the financial practices of these stores, ensuring thorough investigations. This operation coincides with another critical raid involving eleven Chinese supermarkets across four Bangkok districts, including Samphanthawong, Lak Si, Bueng Kum, and Huai Khwang, found selling products failing to meet legal safety standards. As authorities continue their crackdown on illegal practices, the message is clear: compliance with Thai laws is non-negotiable, and protective measures for both consumers and local businesses are strengthening. Electrical appliance repair in Chiang Mai?
I had almost the exact same issue with my microwave last year. It would turn on, lights and all, but no heat. I was convinced it was something major, but it turned out to be the magnetron (basically the heart of the microwave) that had gone bad. I ended up getting it replaced, and it’s been working fine since. If you’re in Thailand, finding a repair shop might be a bit different, but I’d suggest looking for places that specialize in Samsung or similar brands. When I was figuring it out, I also reached out to visit site vanproappliance just to get some advice on what to look for, so I didn’t get overcharged. They were super helpful in breaking down what might be wrong. -
