Is it any wonder that this Country is a laughing stock! When you have idiots in charge of  government departments ordering instructions to ban things like this, why would you bother investing your money here, when the goal posts get moved on a whim! TIT.

Surely you havent just realised this.

Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland along with prayut and co obviously got together to dream up this insane law. The government continues to make total idiots of themselves and the laughing stock everywhere. Unfortunately overseas it reflects back on the country.

And those who choose to live here.

Quite correct. used to be on a Saturday morning a few years ago. Is it still going?

The Government is not stupid (well perhaps a little bit) and they are fully aware of the gambling nationwide. I don't think they mind as long as it being controlled by them or the police.

Darts is a strange one. Might play for a drink or something. It's a pub game. Not so easy to control; hence the licence thing.

What about throwing a dart at a baloon to win a teddy bear?

Bar owners can then show the certificate to the authorities in the event they are required to prove their dart board is registered.

Failure to register dart boards may result in a fine or the board being confiscated, the TDA warns on its website.

No mention of darts themselves being banned, I wonder if they forgot to include them in the legislation. If so the whole ban is pointless...

If the darts themselves aren't banned, when the dartboard is confiscated the punters just need to hang up an alternative target and keep playing. Maybe they could use a pizza as just mentioned... Domino's often does a buy one get one free offer.

Does anybody have a copy of the "the dartboard registration" form or procedure?

Probably not been drafted yet. Similar to the response when the bar in soi 6 was told a permit was required, but when asked what the permit was it turned out not to exist. There's a link to some sort of application provided by the Thailand Darts Association in the OP, but not sure it's anything official.
