Suvarnabhumi Airport To Pattaya By Bus

Featured Replies

Will be going to Pattaya for the first time from the new airport. I did a search and found a bus going directly from the airport, but it leaves at 9am and then .......... nothing until 1pm. My flight gets in like 9:20am, of course.

So that means I will most probably take a taxi (or Airport Bus) to a bus station. Before when coming from Don Muang I always went to Mo Chit, obviously, but from the new airport I guess Ekamai is easier to reach? Also by meter taxi? And would the Airport bus that goes to Sukhumvit be fairly quick in reaching Ekamai, I think that one approaches Sukhumvit via On Nut, then Ekamai?

(I don't want to take a taxi or limo; I know these cost around 1300 baht or so)

And, for sake of completeness, is there also a city bus that goes from the public transport terminal that goes to Ekamai (or Mo Chit) ?
