Exact dates of Songkran in Pattaya, please.

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I know Songkran is Friday, April 13 through Sunday, April 15. But Pattaya usually has Songkran for more like a week. What dates will  this "holiday" be observed in Pattaya, with water play in the streets? I need to avoid this.

I have been dealing with eye problems for the last few years and cannot get dirty talcum powder water ? in my eyes.

19th is the big water day but the days preceding will also be active in all usual places (streets and bars).

19th is always the last day.  I come back on the 20th.

There is a detailed thread by Joe 6 pack with dates.

13-19 are the water potential days.  Wear those safety glasses, can be bought for less than 100 than, just to protect your eyes mate.

Cheers, I was searching for his post with the calendar but your correct on the dates for Pattaya.

Now we can all be amazed and awestruck by those who will boast about how they will leave and when we can all be graced with their presence, after Songkran concludes.

As already advised the pinned topic HERE will tell you everything one needs to know to keep safe and dry
