MacBook Battery replacements

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever purchased and replaced the battery in their MacBook? None of the Apple Franchises in Bangkok have any replacement batteries, also it takes 2 weeks to get from Singapore and then who knows what the cost will be! Looking at videos, looks straightforward replacing the battery

Talking to Apple from the USA the senior advisor told me that Apple franchises can basically charge whatever they want outside USA. They only have to guarantee to use genuine Apple parts !

Just go to MBK in Bangkok, 4th floor and there several shops which could just replace your old battery with a new one. Don't try any official Apple outlet, they rip you off, beside of that they never have needed spare parts!

You could also get a replacement at Zeer IT MJall Rangsit. Zeer is huge and has very good Service Technicians with reasonable pricing. Zerr is about 5km after the old Don Muang Airport.

Forget Pantip Plaza in Bangkok! Since they started with their endless renovation, that former high-class center goes down every month more and more!

So, who bought an Apple Product,  and paid an crazy price for it, could and should buy the spare parts from Apple too! If that user wants to save money on Spare Parts, better change the brand and draw the Apple product into the Rubbish Bin!
