Does anyone have any information regarding the 2 Frenchmen that were travelling home to France from Thailand with 2 Ekectric Tuk Tuk's ??

I found a report of four Frenchmen completing the trip in two of those three wheelers, but no mention of electric (solar) powered:

In 2015 there was an announcement that two (Thai) students would do the trip in electric powered three wheelers.

I can't find any report that it has actually taken place.
