TAT kicks off Chinese New Year celebration, adding that fair is also to celebrate HM the King's 80th birthday anniversary

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) kicked off “Chinese New Year Celebration at China Town,” in Yaowaraj district, adding that the festival is also includes celebration of His Majesty the King’s 80th birthday anniversary.

Mr. Surapol Sawetserni (สุรพล เศวตเศรนี), deputy governor of TAT’s public relations division, revealed that the fair is to celebrate the long-standing bilateral relationship with China.

He added that this year's Chinese New Year celebration would be a spectacular one as the Kingdom is looking forward to celebrate HM's 80th anniversary.

There will be displays of HM's kind contribution to his people in the fair too.

The fair will be held on Feb 18th and 19th at 8.00 – 24.00 hours, adding that Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening ceremony at 18.00 hours.
