Anyone Travelling From CNX To Sydney, Australia in the Near Future?

Featured Replies

Hi is there anyone travelling from Chiang Mai to Sydney, Australia in the near future? I  have a favour to ask.

The story:- I took my Thai born baby to Australia in Feb/Mar to put him up for adoption (long story). I took photos of him before, during and after the trip. Just after I returned from Australia my iPhone met with an accident and was reasonably destroyed. Unfortunately I had not backed up the phone since November last year so have lost all the photos. I took the phone to Apple and many repair shops but all said no. I looked around on the net and found a few places in America and Australia that specialise in recovering data from damaged items such as this. I finally selected one in Sydney and went to post the phone. Being honest I told them what it was and was told I could not post it because of the battery.

I have a friend going to Brisbane in July but if anyone is going to Sydney if they could take the phone and post to recovery place in North Sydney. Because of the battery the phone would need to be taken in carry on luggage.

There is nothing illegal about this and the phone has nothing valuable on it except a few photos that are very sentimental to me. I have to make a declaration to the recovery people and have to provide them with the passcode of the phone so as they know it owned by me.

If anyone can help please let me know.
