Anyone know where I can buy proper canning jars in CM, like Mason jars or Quattro Stagioni ?

Alternatively just some decent jam jars, new ones, in largeish quantities ?

I want to get ready for mango season.

Rimping has them. The ones with the rubber seal.

They have several sizes "3 & 1.5 litre and a smaller one"

I saw them yesterday (the shop near the iron bridge) didn't look at the prices but when I bought some a few years back they were not cheap.

I don't expect that they will be any cheaper now.

It doesn't seem to make any difference how strong the baht is the prices never come down "TIT"

Thanks for the info JBG, are they screw on lids or wire lever type ?

Im looking for the screw on type, better seal I think.

Ta

The ones that I saw at Rimping are the wire lever type, and same as those I bought 4-5 years back.

I like the lever type although the rubber sealing rings have to be in good condition to make a good airtight seal.

What country in this world has ever lowered prices if their currency was strong??

I would think many and one of the first commodities that come to mind is petrol/gasoline (and not just when the price of a barrel of Nth Sea crude comes down in price)
