No,In the wild wild west, the shooting was mostly at people for a purpose. When the Texicans came into Albaline or Dodge City the town Marshals jailed them or shot them ,thus stoping this stupid  celibrations.Humm,Thinking about this,I guess that your right. The only thing is that there are no good, qualified Marshals here.Where's Will Bill when you need him?

That's right, and Virgil Earp as town marshal in Tombstone prohibited the carrying of guns in town. (It was one of several factors that soon led to the famed OK Corral shootout. Wyatt Earp shot Frank McLaury first, judging him as the most dangerous.) For what it's worth, Wyatt said several times that gun fights were not about quick draws but about taking steady aim.

Police said they were investigating who fired the gunshots.  They said the person who fired the gunshots in public is liable to ten years imprisonment and/or 20,000 baht fine.

In this case, the gunman will face an additional charge of firing gunshots, causing injury to the other people which is liable to one month jail term and/or 10,000 baht fine.

Presume 10-years is more preventive than 20,000 baht, the extra one month is not that important, if both 10-years and 20k baht is used.

Luckily no one got killed or seriously hurt.
