OPP to grant awards to outstanding youths

Office of Welfare Promotion, Protection and Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups (OPP) will present awards to outstanding youths and those who support youth affairs on September 20, 2007.

Kitti Samanthai (กิตติ สมานไทย), the OPP director, disclosed that OPP has arranged an award presentation ceremony every year since 1989 with an objective to encourage the general public to realize the importance of youth development.

This year, OPP has divided the awards into three categories including the National Outstanding Youth, Individual Philanthropists, and Outstanding Organizations which support youth affairs.

The award winners will receive a prize granted to them by Her Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on September 20 this year.
