I always remember back in the 60s i had just gone to live in London,at a house my cousin lived in ,he was " a nancy boy" my grandad called him that in those days,but he was my friend,he took me to a pub where the men all seemed to wear cardigans and smoke pipes,as we walked in there were a few smiles ," this is my cousin he said he has just come to live her,HE LIKES GIRLS! Funny i was not really sure what gay guys did,

This I think points out a problem with surveys, and how the data can be misinterpreted.  OK, maybe 80% of the respondents said they found them attractive, but the flaw there is that the majority of people that responded to the survey might be those that had a interest in ladyboys in the first place and that is why they took the time to complete the survey as the topic interested them

Well Thai males generally are selfish when it comes to ensuring that their female partners are satisfied during the sexual act, so I guess having sex with a lady boy panders to their selfish desires. Nothing to do with their manhood ( or lack of it )

For me and my mates, our right of passage was earning your red wings. No mistaking gender there.

Will have to halt this discussion before its disapproved of I fear. Shame really because earning your brown wings could open up a whole new chapter of enlightenment.

I'm gay, my brother is str8 and a childhood friend came out to me late in life as pansexual or gamp (those who luvs the ladyboys) though myself & our friends thought him str8 all these decades (as he also luvs the ladies). So far studies seem to indicate attraction to ladyboys might be a distinct orientation within itself or a subset or the orientation of heterosexuality.

 

While some might fetishize some particular body part or combination ie so-called chicks with dicks, others, particularly the pansexuals, seem attracted to the person who happens to have such components. That they are oriented towards the person makes it not a fetish; it makes it an orientation.
