Something really weird going on: 500 Error / Error 524 / My Thread closed (presumably by me???)

Been getting Error 524 intermittently for about a week.  During last couple of days I am getting the "500 Error".  This error message will either list "Connection Refused" or "My SQL Server has gone away" 

 

Today it is happening perhaps once every 10 minutes!  And now, my original thread about this issue shows that I closed the thread to further discussions???  Anybody know what's going on???.  See my screenshot attachments.

No, I closed your thread(s) with a link to an existing thread on the same subject (hopefully it actually posted ok), we are having the same issues with errors and multiple postings.
