An Army deserter was shot dead in Songkhla's Saba Yoi district early on Tuesday.

Police said Bukhori Samarn, 22, was shot seven times near a bamboo forest in Ban Khok Sireng in Tambon Thung Phor at 1am.

He was shot twice in the head, once at his neck, twice on his torso and twice on his right thigh.

Bukhori was a Army conscript who had deserted from his base in Krabi, police said. He had deserted twice before.

Police said Bukhori was walking with a friend to a hut to drink kratom when he was attacked from behind. The friend ran away to inform police.

Was he shot by the Army for deserting or are we led to believe he was murdered by insurgents ?

Inept indeed, allowing himself to be murdered and now nobody knows who did it...well, he knows but he's not saying, anything to anyone, ever.

I wonder if he was still wearing his uniform.  If so,................   If not, then by whom, and why?

It seems to be a message killing. Begging the question - who does the message benefit?

Benefits the 'traffickers'? :whistling:

Who knows and for what reason/s.

His third desertion.

Army conscript.

Killed by seven single shots.

Message sent to other conscripts.

DPM and Minister of Defense Gen. Prawit suggested that death was just a fact of military life.

Just took a while for the Firing Squad to catch up with him.

Good question...rather poor reporting since there was no indication of who the shooter was. Was that detail left out by design for fear that the guilty party might be a rather large organization with lots of weapons?

Well if it is that bad one should reconsider.

How about london where innocent brazilian tourists get riddled with bullets for looking like..well muslims.

Random stabbings making it the stabbing capital of the world.

Mexico 30000 gun murders so far in 2018.

The world is ypur oyster
