June 26, 20187 yr Hi, Can anyone recommend some lab / clinics in Bangkok where I can go to get some blood tests done for a good price? Preferably in or near the Phrakhanong area. I found some older threads with recommendations but they were all up Lad Phrao / Don Muang way which is too far for me. I need to monitor my testosterone and estradiol levels regularly as I'm on TRT. I usually do it at my trusted doctor, but the prices are quite high per test so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. I don't mind if it takes a few days to get the results, as long as I can get them via email and won't have to visit again afterwards. While on the topic, if there's one that also does STD testing for a good price let me know! I've been going to the Red Cross clinic in the past, but last time I went it was actually pretty expensive? Like over 3000 baht for the full STD check up.
June 26, 20187 yr It's not in Phrakanong, but certainly closer than Lard Prao: https://www.medconsultasia.com/health-check-ups BTS to Thonglor then short taxi ride. it shows in google maps so if you have that on your phone easy to direct the driver, otherwise call and have them give him directions,

June 26, 20187 yr Govt hospital will not do these tests on demand, he would have to see a doctor who would have to order them. And the hormone tests will probably not be available at other than the tertiary level hospitals.

Was just hoping to find something a little cheaper as these tests are not covered by my insurance (existing condition).
June 27, 20187 yr They are about as cheap as it gets. It wouldn't be much less even at a govt hospital. 800 baht for testosterone and estrogen levels (each) is only a tad more than what most labs would charge and much less than a pvt hospital would.
June 27, 20187 yr Vibhavadi hospital is not overly expensive. I get my cholesterol and sugar level checked there.
