Agree. He is at special risk psychologically. In terms of PTSD the element of feeling personal responsibility is often a factor. in addition he will have borne the full weight of completely understanding the danger they were in from day 1 whereas the boys may have been partially sheltered from this full realization by their youth.

My "grandkids" arrive tomorrow for a visit. I usually respect the 13 year old boys' embarassment at being hugged and restrain myself, but tomorrow I most definitely will not.... He is in for a long, tight  embarassing hug from Grandma like it or not!

UPDATE at 5:15pm: The 11th boy has reached the cave entrance. He’s the smallest and is in good health.

I guess this can be nice to look at, to the first glass of vine/beer/whiskey or what ever you fancy. Sit back relax and be happy.

 

 

The coach's psycological condition will be elevated immensely when he is reunited with his Wild Boars. I'm sure the will be an overflow if wais, hugs and tears to raise the spirits of all. I just hope it's recorded somehow.

12th boy and the Coach are reported to have reached Chamber 3

huge relief knowing that they have all got past the diving stages, I am pretty sure a lot of thais will be celebrating tonight, it is really great news  even if they havent officially stated they are all ok

Thai TV stating that the eleventh to be rescued is the smallest, assumed to be 11-year-old Chanin Wiboonrungrueng. His identity has not been confirmed.

Yes, it would be really nice to see for all, but I think they shall be given the privacy they need and that can include the wais too. 

There are going to be som much pictures and stories about this so you will have to read for ever anyway.

My wife is watching the ongoing rescue on TV and tells me that the coach is "not strong" so the doctors are monitoring him closely. Hope it's nothing serious! He has been through a great deal and has done exceptionally well, I'd say.

The third batch of boys are probably the strongest, the last 3 boys rescued are apparently waiting for the last two boys coming out before being sent to the hospital, says Thai TV
