After 13 years of living in central Bangkok, I am considering moving the family out to the suburbs.  Schools like Ascot and Bromsgrove look good, and I've heard that Sammakorn Village off Ramkhamhaeng Road offers a variety of houses or condos for rent, within relatively easy access to these schools.

Does anyone have knowledge of what life is like there?  Are there many amenities in the vicinity?  How easy is it to get into central Bangkok (where I will still be working)?  What would one expect to pay for a 2-bedroom property?  Is there much available?

Thanks.
