So it's another 'rumour' that you were happy to believe?

No.

You asked me for a link showing evidence of the UK sending it’s botched translations to 27 nation’s.

I never stated they had.

That the UK distributed botched translations of its botched white paper to a number of EU nations is all over the news.

Go find your own link.

Just most of them.

A majority of them.

More than voted to remain.

For me, it is important that our European friends are reminded that not all of the UK voted to leave. Once the UK ceases to exist, an independent Scotland will hopefully seek to strengthen its position with regards to the EU, and for that we need their goodwill.

The UK government have issued a list of canned food every house is required to stock up on..

  • Ready-to-eat canned meats, fruits, vegetables and a can opener.
  • Protein or fruit bars.
  • Dry cereal or granola.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Dried fruit.
  • Canned juices.
  • Non-perishable pasteurized milk.
  • High energy foods.

Take what you like from the actual article, but from what I have seen, read and heard, it does seem that the EU is terrified of letting the UK go.

Sputnik vs. The Telegraph. I'd say it's a tie.

Right ho.

Could I wish you the "best of British luck" with that one...

Oh, don't get me wrong - I have nothing against the British; in fact, there is no proposal, as far as I know, for us to vacate the British Isles, so we will still be, geographically at least, British.

Well Mr Renegade might get his wish - "accidental" hard no deal brexit  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-5982231/Jeremy-Hunt-Real-risk-accidental-no-deal-Brexit.html

This is the sort of thing that happens when you "accidentally" invoke article 50 without a plan - shades of Withnail and I ....

Finally a senior minister telling the EU negotiators to change their ridiculous childish attitudes towards a very serious situation.  This follows Dominic Raab effectively telling them they can kiss goodbye to the 39bn divorce payment if we don't reach a deal.

I particularly like this bit from Hunt regarding the effect of a 'no deal' outcome:

“That would be incredibly challenging economically. Britain would find that challenging but in the end we would find a way not just to survive but to thrive economically.

The EU fears the UK will become an Atlantic version of Singapore

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/world/105676030/the-eu-fears-the-uk-will-become-an-atlantic-version-of-singapore

This is probably the major reason that the EU is desperate to tie the UK to Brussels and the ECJ.

WTO was always my preferred route right from the start.

No dancing to the EU's tune over the past 2 years.

Those that need it have a full 2 years to prepare for it.

No whinging, just get on with it.

So Brexit will be a fantastic opportunity for the banks to force the UK to lower their taxes .

Flagrantly opportunistic they may be, but the yanks' demands are just a taste of things to come. Brexit puts us in the invidious position of being over the proverbial barrel when negotiating pretty much anything, and we'll unquestionably see that being ruthlessly exploited by our erstwhile trading partners as well as our rivals.

The glories of autarky, isolation and obscurity beckon.

US banks urge UK to cut corporate taxes to stop Brexit exodus

British citizens need to be more concerned about the U.K. turning into an Atlantic version of Singapore.

It seems unlikely to me that the uk would present "the white paper in various languages..... they used Google Translate".

First time I've heard this, and initially thought it was a joke!  But other remainers seem to believe it, so a link indicating this to be the case would be appreciated.

It was on Radio 4; I will provide a link

https://www.euractiv.com/section/uk-europe/news/translations-of-british-brexit-plan-provoke-ridicule/

there are many more ?

Whilst the obvious mess of the translation is a joke. The biggest joke is that people actually believe '' Google Translate '' was used as a translation service.

It would appear that remainers are nowhere near as educated as they think they are and are very easily taken in by fake news.

It is absolutely true. Google Translate produces EXAcTLy the same errors

In other words, Grouse's initial comment was a lie, but lapped up by remainers as 'fact'.....

You need to apologise for that. There are many references in MSM.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-paper-german-translation-white-chequers-deal-a8454561.html%3famp

The comment about Google Translate was made on Radio 4 where they fed in bits from the white paper and received exactly the same incorrect translation.

I will keep posting until I receive an apology from the fence sitter and the usual lickers. By all means accuse me of lying but be prepared to back it up or face the consequences. Whereas I make mistakes, I have no need to lie to Brexiters. There is no need. ?

Why the need to lie repeatedly ?

Not one of those links that you posted even mention '' Google Translate '' being used to translate the white paper.

Highly educated remainers ??

You cannot even read an article without seeing words that are not written or implied, only imagined to suit your agenda.  You must have a twin on TV, I had the same conversation yesterday.

Given the end result that has been distributed to the other member states, does it really matter whether it was Google Translate or Bing?

The result is not in question, it is embarrassing for the UK when the document should have been presented only in English.

That does not detract from the comments made in the thread, where so called highly educated remainers, not only fall victim to fake news, then lie repeatedly to try and cover up that they have fallen for fake news.

Highly educated ???

They know what is best for the UK ???

Cannot read a news article or identify fake news ??

No problem for educated remainers but inadequately educated Brexiters would be stuffed.

And presumably inadequately educated remainers would also be stuffed?

An article from today's Telegraph, if it is true, will have remainers shedding tears

Quote

Brussels sources have told The Telegraph that it is theoretically possible but would be very difficult. They revealed that an extension request, were it ever to be made by Theresa May, would only be accepted to accommodate a second Brexit referendum or a general election

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/07/24/eu-will-extend-brexit-deadline-second-referendum/

The EU at it's finest. have another vote until the result we require is achieved.
