We can thank our "leaders" around the EU for being "nice" folk for the crap the natives have to put up with. The folk they let in may come from a bygone era where atrocities are the norm...EU folk are now paying the price making these people feel like untouchable because we are so "nice"...Sadly the EU folk that control us ain't got a clue sitting in their ivory towers...

Kindly explain the EU involvement in this.

"In the Torah We prescribed for them a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, an equal wound for a wound: if anyone forgoes this out of charity, it will serve as atonement for his bad deeds. Those who do not judge according to what God has revealed are doing grave wrong." (Qurʾān, 5:45)  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_for_an_eye#Islam

On the other hand, someone (perhaps it was Ghandi?) said, "An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind".

Don't be silly

I don't think conc acids or caustic soda should be generally available. What would you use HF for?

Again, how is the EU involved in this horrendous act?

From the West Mercia Police Press Release:

“For legal reasons, the force has taken the decision not to name the defendants.“

Barstool pundits will of course have more information on this than the police dealing with the case.

Time will tell, oh sneering one.

Four of the five have been named...

Quote

The identities of four of them were revealed at roughly 1pm on Wednesday.

The four men are: Adam Cech, 27, Jan Dudi, 25, and Norbert Pulko, 22, who are from Slovakia and live in London, and Afghan-national Jabar Paktia, 41, of Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

A 39-year-old man, who is the boy’s father, cannot be named for legal reasons.

Obvious reason for not naming the 5th.

Acids have lots of useful applications.

I'm planning to use acid in a hydroponic system to grow strawberries.

Perhaps you use acid in your car battery?

This thread is about a three year old boy, seriously injured by an acid attack/5 people arrested - and it turns out they are all 'refugees'....

<snip>

Other than the Afghan father, who else has been identified as alleged refugees?

There is no requirement for concentrated acids or alkalis being generally available (95% pure)

Even floor cleaner is only 10% HCl typically. This will put holes in your clothes but not in you!

Do you not use sealed lead acid batteries? I don't think Joe Public needs access to concentrated H2SO4!

If you used concentrated HCl on strawberries, I guarantee you won't have many left.

Let's not be silly here.

Pure Sodium chlorate used to be sold to kill weeds on paths. It was controlled after being used in IEDs.
