However if he could understand English a lot of us might well be attitude adjustment candidates, like Pravit Rojanaphruk from Khasod English. If you read his wiki entry, then look at the same page in Thai, that's an awful lot shorter, probably done on purpose to make it more difficult for the junta to translate the English page.

The best way to judge whether this government is doing well is for the people to judge through an election. That said, why he is not running for election neither is he keen on an election.

Hold on a minute. Political parties normally have a leader who is running for PM, so they get behind that person and campaign for votes from the public to get their party and leader into power. Why is there now two political parties that want the military in charge?
