They target tourist areas and try to extort 2000 b after showing victim a list of infringement fines including littering. The cops are obviously in on it. Theyre called tasserktz The "Tessakit" are not fake cops...they are "legitimate" employees of the City town hall... you'll often see them chasing little old ladies away from the beach promenade who are trying to make a living hawking somtam !! as well as chasing people for cigarette butts and littering..they "help" as security on the major events around the city too.
