Two houses in Patong,  linked to a suspect in the double murder at Sattahip, Chonburi, remain under surveillance but there hasn’t been any activity according to police.

Chonburi police, investigating the double execution-style murders in the car park of Buddha Mountain in Sattahip, say their initial investigations revealed a number of possible motives in the gruesome hit.

After investigations arrest warrants were issued for three suspects. One of them is a man known as ‘Sia Auan’ aka. 39 year old Panya Yingdang, a bar owner in Patong.

Arrest warrant issued,  the Police will tell him to report to the station

at his earliest convenience.

regards worgeordie

That's correct worgeordie.   He will be told to report to the police station.   If he fails to do that then he's basically a fugitive  from   arrest.

It goes back to same as  with  falangs with having to have a current address  and info on file.

The noose gets tighter and tighter in Thailand for those who want to run away from trouble.

Not really, he gets arrested, gets convicted and then gets bail. Not much of a deterrent.

Thai Rath reported on the case of a Bangkok man who doused a 22 year old Thai woman from Ubon in gasoline while she was eating with friends at a Som Tam stall. Incredibly the 23 year old Thai man who did it was given bail by the court in Bangkok. He then told a friend of the victim that she was next."

he personally shot someone else and they dismissed the case? I hope they reopen that case, and if the prosecutor dropped the ball he should bear some responsibility for this recent crime if Mr. bar owner is convicted.

According to today's Thai press, this perp actually got 2 other people to do the shooting - one of them has been arrested, while this guy, 39 years old, known as Sia Uan, which translates to 'Fat Rich Guy' is still at large.

The press states the reason was that the girl, 20, was "ignoring" Sia Uan, and while on a day out with a male childhood friend, also 20, were tracked and shot by the two gunmen.

As far as a photo can indicate someone's personality, Sia Uan's face would seem perfectly suited to petulant brutality of this sort.

@ Mad mick

I don't disagree with you about your UK contention but I was specifically addressing the post about Thailand and for sure the noose is getting tighter and tighter for those who break the law.
