New Tops Market Planned for Baan & Beyond Complex

Sorry if already posted elsewhere, but a new Tops Market will be coming to the Baan & Beyond complex.  It will be quite large, running from Office Mate out to the parking lot.  It will be a welcome addition for me.  No completion date mentioned.

Haven't heard about a Villa Market on Sukhumvit, do you know where it is or going to be located?

It does seem an odd place to locate, although that Big C seemed to be a poor cousin to the other Big CS in town.

I had heard was going to be in the old Index building - of course I may be wrong !

    Not the location I would have selected, right next to another, established grocery store.  Auto parking is limited, with a large number of spaces taken over by vendors and a car wash.  The spaces left have to accommodate Baan and Beyond, Office Mate, and the other shops.  I suppose you could park at Big C and walk over but if I am already at Big C I'll likely just shop there.  I would have put the Tops on Jomtien Second Road near all the new condos that have been built and are being built--Riviera, Dusit, Grand, Acqua, Copa, The One, Lumpini, Reflection, Seven Seas, Espana, and others.

I would guess that the new Tops shop will easily be outpriced by the very expensive Villa Market.

TOps is far better than Vill or Foodland.

I really like Tops.  Will always go over Villa, Friendship, Big C, and Foodland.

Yes Jomtien could do with some supermarkets...thousands of condo units built more underway..it has to happen eventually.
