My passport runs out in August 2019.

 

I am planning to be in the UK for June and July

 

Will it still be OK for me to travel on this passport

You are supposed to have a minimum of 6months left on your passport to enter I believe.

To enter UK?  I thought TP was a Brit.  Guess I might be wrong.

I know my wife who has a 5 year visa has to have at least 6 months left on her visa to travel

Yes, you can travel to the UK using this pass, you can actually travel to the UK using an expired passport as your passport is evidence of your right to enter the UK, that right doesn’t expire even when your passport does.

I assume you will be renewing your passport whilst in the UK.

I’m just doing mine. They have told me 3 weeks max, but likely sooner.

Have you a home address in the UK?, or can the passport be sent wherever you want.

 

I will mainly be staying at my Dad's house, will it be able to be sent there?

I have a home address so I’m not sure tbh. Just read this. 

“An overseas applicant may also request the passport and documents are sent to a UK address for the appropriate fee. ... Overseas customers may also, in exceptional circumstances, apply from one overseas location and have their passport and supporting documents returned to another.”
