The rip offs in Phuket are a disgrace. Glad I'm living in Bangkok and don't have to deal with the obnoxious taxi mafia down there. Yesterday I paid 249 Baht from DonMuang airport to my home in Ba

Grab Phuket was good value until about mid-2017.

At that point they added huge surcharges and cut all phuket promos. Now they are double the price of what they were before.

Its cheaper now to just flag a taximeter on street or haggle with a drivercar if you can find one.

Grab service has also gone down-hill, with many drivers asking the customers to cancel the rides after they acepted the booking! Grab also does not appear to have a customer service phone center or email address. Brutally pathetic service!

Grab got too greedy and lazy and they will lose allot of Phuket business as a result.

They must have thought getting greedy and lazy seems to work for the Thai taxi drivers. Let's give it a try. Now Grab is overpriced and unreliable, offering no service whatsoever. At least they blend in nicely now.
