nausea Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 It's had its time, especially in the "me too" climate: And: Must admit, it was funny. Apparently, real geeks hated it, I guess that means I'm not a geek.
tifino Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 so classical, that in 100 years it will still be spoken of in whispers, when people discuss Ancient Geek Mythology
GinBoy2 Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I was done with BBT about 4 seasons ago, around the time of Cuoco & Galecki getting together. For me it's always the kiss of death when the sexual tension between characters turns into them being a couple. Stopped being funny for me around that time, RIP Big Bang Theory 1
ELVIS123456 Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Only watched a few shows - found it as funny as a heart attack - millenial humour never got me. Cant believe it has actually gone for 13 seasons - talk about getting blood out of a stone. 1
Fruit Trader Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 12 seasons of people poking their food with plastic forks. Young Sheldon is not so bad.
VBF Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Opinions obviously differ. I've watched and kept every episode of BBT and YS and would be delighted if they both returned. And I'm a self-confessed Geek! 1
biggles45 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 "millenial humour never got me." I have seen every season, love the humour and the Sheldon character especially. I am 72 years old and British........certainly no millenial (did they even have them when the show started?) 1
smileydude Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 BBT offers a good chuckle or two compared to the cringes reality shows give me. Though I must confess I preferred the raunchy humor and decadent lifestyle and lovely ladies in "Two and a Half Men" more.
natway09 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 I really enjoyed watching them. Very witty. Thank you Thai Airways (which I use a lot) showed them all
