Anyone brought a second hand bicycle over from uk lately?will be in a bike box.

Yes brought in 2 in 2 separate trips. Just put them on a trolley with other luggage and strolled through customs

Yes - most bikes are well within the weight limit - unless you have a 1950's postie bike.  Need to remove pedals and wheels, swivel the bars flat and put in a cardboard bicycle box.  In theory if you live in Thailand you need to pay duty.  I brought a bike in year's ago before I moved here - and just walked through customs with it on a trolley.  Try to look like a tourist on a cycling holiday (cycling shoes, tan lines on leg, arms and fingers, wrap around shades on head, muscular thighs and skinny arms).
