agree,

and in the overhaul include the election system (the current is not much democratic - doesn't meet modern requirements)

politicians in charge should rethink how they go about business. think the UK is pretty alone

in Europe re the way the party in charge goes about major issues

You may have noticed over the last few months, that the Daily Express has gradually become less and less pro Brexit. Could this possible have anything to do with the new owners, Trinity Mirror. Who surprisingly support remain.

Amazing what money can buy, including an open and unbiased media.

The mail had become pretty toxic and some big advertisers had pulled out. It's controlled by Lord Rothermere and I remember reading(no link)that he was getting it from those in his social circle about the tone of the rag.have a look at Wikipedia.

Just 8% of Brits support the idea of having a second referendum, according to the latest poll by YouGov. Added to the people who want to stop Brexit by other means, only 36% of voters would like to see the result of the referendum reversed. By contrast adding together the different Brexit options sees 46% of voters in favour of EU withdrawal. Nothing has changed…

Lools like Leave is the winner

Great .. so when we have the vote you can say "I told you so"? Looking forward to that.

If the so-called cradle of parliamentary democracy, home of the Magna Carta, decides to ignore the result of a referendum because certain key figures decide that the electorate voted for the wrong outcome, then where does that end?

Remainers, the delusionists who just refuse to accept what is happening. Their funk of denial is just as destructive because they’re doing nothing to find a way of getting out of the EU without disaster.

The protagonist in this debacle is the Cabinet Secretary, a very

staunch, powerful, and crafty remainer.  This system of government

needs a total overhaul.

Eloquently put.

No! the money trail may not lead directly to him but you can bet your bottom shorted pound that his mates profited from it.

Adam , you are spot on , it was unreal the way  he conceded far, far too easily and   too early   . " never mind its an on going project ' blah blah .

Also the BBC interviewer looked like her bottom false teeth were about to drop out .

I have shorted the odd pound over the years , including when Soros was doing it  and it's what went through my mind immediately  -  it's pay back time .

Points to note. If there is going to be a general election Nadine Dorries asks "do we want May leading us into that election"

Only totally dingbat hard brexiteers would force a general election and then force the PM out and expect to win that election. Not going to happen. Its a feeling lucky punk moment.

Of I'm a Celebrity Fame when she was still an MP so committed to democracy is she.....Leavers accuse us remainers of using protect fear in our points.. yet they fail to understand and accept that 'protect fear' is the entirety of the leave argument. Only the fear they spread is about the EU. They run from one fear, and ignore the other.

Not only that, but the only other pro leave backing national newspaper, the Mail is now under the editorial control since Sept of the very staunch remainer and old Etonian Gordie Greg.

So the remoaners can now promote their one sided biased veiw on the people’s decision to leave the hated E.U.

Therefor Today the democratic will of the people has been stolen from them by remainer T. May, and along side this we have no neutral and free media, it’s  becoming more and more like North Korea every day.

you think the express has toned down! No such luck. The mail has so the glass is half full give it another five years and the express readership will have died off, and then all those young people who the brexiteers have denied the opportunity to have the freedom to live and work in an expanding EU will come gunning for you.I hope I live long enough to see it.

How is this different than the process that will occur?

  • The Brexit deal which has been negotiated by the UK and the EU is expected to be agreed at a special EU summit on 25 November.
  • After that, MPs will get their say on whether they approve of the deal or not. Several days of debate will be followed by what's known as the "meaningful vote".

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-46239782

MP's are elected officials. As democratic representatives of the UK electorate (aka 'representative democracy') the MPs vote will conclude the democratic process in acceptance or rejection of May's Brexit deal with the EU.
