So I was driving to work and suddenly my turning lane got stopped by one of Bangkok's finest. Who would like to take a guess as to why he was stopping my lane. The "sidewalk" might be an obvious clue for some.

In Thailand...

.....to let the motorcycles which are (illegally) riding down the pavement (sidewalk) to cross the Rd???

We have a winner (kind of)! He was letting motorcycles from the side road turn against traffic and onto the pavement. Now I know most/all traffic laws in Thailand mean nothing due to a lack of enforcement, but never have I come across such a blatant situation where the RTP were encouraging illegal driving.

You've put some effort into this, diagrams and all.

You're right though - they do this all the time.
