BEIJING (Reuters) - The United States and China are set to impose new tit-for-tat tariffs against each other's goods on Monday, the latest escalation in a heated trade war between the world's two largest economies.

LIVERPOOL, England (Reuters) - Britain's opposition Labour Party will vote this week to keep a second Brexit referendum on the table if Prime Minister Theresa May fails to pass her plan to leave the European Union through parliament, media reported.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hong Kong authorities formally banned on Monday a group promoting independence from China - the first outlawing of a political organisation since Britain handed its former colony back to Chinese rule in 1997.

Twenty eight years on - Thailand remembers unforgettable gas tanker explosion

Construction begins for new buildings at Khon Kaen airport

KHON KAEN, 24 September 2018 (NNT) - The construction of a new passenger terminal and a parking building at Khon Kaen airport has begun. The cabinet approved a two-billion-baht budget for the three-year project on October 10th last year.

Phuket group calls for action over ‘crucial’ oil, gas concessions

PHUKET:-- Governor Norraphat Plodthong today (Sept 24) received a petition from a local action group calling for the Prime Minister to intervene in the concessions being offered to two “crucial” oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand, and accusing officials of breaching ethics requirements mandated in the Constitution of Thailand.
