Thailand's crime buster extraordinary Pol Maj-Gen Surachate Hakpan was part of the welcoming party as a group of Thais he helped to bust in the Philippines arrived back at Suvarabhumi airport.

They were immediately taken away to the police station after Big Joke made the introductions.

Back in June the roving deputy chief of the Tourist Police Bureau had been at a house in the Manila suburbs busting 16 Thais and three Taiwanese for running a call center operation.

For over a year Thais at home had been defrauded by the group.

Now ten of the Thais are back to face the music in Thailand - six more will follow later said the TPB website.

They are all facing charges on warrants from the Taling Chan court that they committed fraud and extortion and pretended to be Thai officials.

So how does this work, he went to the Phillipines met them, arrested them?

Then three months later they saunter back, he is there at the airport, with the film crew of course.

Maybe the Philippines had a bit of paper work to do as they were arrested there.

All flying Thai Airways as no revenue passengers. Big Joke and his vast entourage of escorts plus sixteen non-paying villains. This rabble must have stripped a heap off the bottom line of Thai Airways.

And these military economic illiterates are scratching their heads as to why their national airline is going down the gurgler fast.

Who remembers the Thai Airways flight to Hawaii by Prawit "Watches" Wongsuwan?

A whole plane load of military trough feeders on a Prawit junket stripping the national airline clean.

Thailand's future looks bleak. As does Thai Airways.

it all depends upon how Thai Airways is structured.

All very well that it is seen as the national carier; but, Is it a ...Commission (as in a Govt spoon fed thing)

or a Corporation?
