Kuala Lumpur Non Immigration O Visa

Featured Replies

I am father of thai children and for the last 6 years have been getting 1 year temporary stay "Guardian" visa extended here in Thailand.  Recently I crossed the border into Malaysia and lost my visa.

I am now on 30 day tourist visa and have to goto Kuala Lumpur to get a Non Immigrant O visa.

They have 3 check lists for Non Immigration O Visa.

  1. Volunteer
  2. Retirement
  3. Dependant of Visa holder

Tried contacting the office, they just stone wall me and refer me back to the website.

So the nearest check list I can find to my situation is the Reitrement, but it has new critieria I have no experience of.

  • 6. Medical certificate issued in Malaysia within the last 3 months showing no prohibitive diseases as indicated in the Ministerial Regulation No. 14 B.E. 2535 (1992)
  • 7. Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin or current country of residence, issued by competent authority within the last 3 months

Anyone have experience of this or know if these are insisted upon ?  I am in Thailand and taking a flight early next week my tourist visa expires 15th.
